Shortly after I arrived in Vientiane, Laos, I got the call that my Grandmother had fallen very ill. Fortuantely, I immediately returned home to Hawaii and was able to spend some time with her. She passed away on Friday June 29th 2007 in the morning. She lived and amazing life…
